Neuro Linguistic Programming
What is Neuro Linguistic Programming?
Neuro-Linguistic Programming (NLP) is a psychological approach that explores the connection between neurological processes (neuro-), language (linguistic), and behavioral patterns learned through experience (programming). NLP posits that these connections can be changed to achieve specific goals in life, enhance communication, and foster personal development. Developed in the 1970s by Richard Bandler and John Grinder, NLP combines various techniques and theories from psychotherapy, linguistics, and cognitive-behavioral psychology.
